Spotlight on young innovative businesses

Four incubated projects were finalists...

in the Grands Prix de l'Innovation 2011 run by the Ville de Paris and awarded on 1 December 2011. The outcome was more than honorable, with four businesses from our incubator nominated among the ten finalists in two categories in our field of expertise! ePawn, Back in Focus (Digital category), Isokron and 3D counting (Innovative services). The prize-winners in these two respective categories were ADN and Deafi. In total, almost 400 projects were considered by the panel of judges. Well done nominees and prize-winners!

Télécom ParisTech’s business incubators in Paris and Sophia Antipolis currently support 50 business start-ups every year. With two to three start-ups created every month, it’s a unique innovation ecosystem.

Prix de la Croissance Verte Numérique

... created by the GridPocket SAS start-up and a research team from Télécom ParisTech led by Laura Draetta was awarded the Prix de la Croissance Verte Numérique (Digital Green Growth Prize) in the “Research” category in November 2011. This project brings together the worlds of the environment, scientific research and business. Initially recognized and commended by experts in the field, the Grid Teams project has won the support of the entire energy sector for its energy efficiency!



An iPhone/ iPad application...

designed by the Actialuna start-up has been ranked the number one best free app on iPad, all categories combined, with more than 10,000 downloads in two days!  The app is a photo book that sets the scene for tiny characters called the “Piccolinis” which readers observe from a Gulliver-like perspective and who become part of their daily lives. Available in 5 languages from AppStore.

The incubator supports innovation...

Startup Café

by lending its expertise to the Startup Café, the first platform for project entrepreneurs, who can use the website to share feedback on their experiences and consult a directory of networks and support organizations.
