Debating : we won !

On 28^th March 2011, the final of the Debating tournament was held at the French National Assembly. which received the two teams of finalists: Télécom ParisTech and the faculty of law from Université Paris Assas, before an excited and attentive audience.

What location could be more appropriate for this oratory jousting tradition in English than Parliament? The title of the motion was: “This house believes that passion is a threat to society”. Telecom was charged with opposing the government, represented by Assas, by contradicting this assertion.

And guess who won? We did, of course!
