Franco-Anglo-South African literary meeting
Janice Tabet’s English class in the Master cycle studying “The novella in English language” at Télécom ParisTech and Nina Parish’s French literature class ("Travelling Identities" in the fourth year of the European Studies and Modern Languages Department at Bath University, UK) meet for a videoconference literary meeting on 25th March 2011 with the South African writer Denis Hirson, English Lecturer at École Polytechnique. All the students had read his book Gardening in the Dark / Jardiner dans le noir and had prepared questions which the author answered for two hours. The author engaged the students in a true comparison with the field of writing and its issues, passing from one language to the other.
