Master of Engineering :|2011 employment survey

Employment survey 2011

Information and Communication Technologies are a fantastic lever for innovation in modern economies; they are used in all sectors and are becoming ever more strategic.

Graduates of Télécom ParisTech are hired in increasingly varied sectors, with growing interest from energy, automobile, aeronautics and space, broadcasting, etc.

When combined with the School's excellent reputation and the high quality of its graduates, this extreme variety of sectors guarantees excellent employment possibilities after graduation, even in a period of economic crisis. Most of our graduates sign an employment contract immediately upon graduating from our school.

The employment survey also reveals a broad palette of first jobs for Télécom ParisTech engineers. The two leading families are consulting and computing. Then come management, finance and telecommunications. Other jobs taking advantage of technical skills follow, with a continuing large percentage of companies created.

In early 2011, 2010 graduates are hired on average at an annual salary of €41,000, which puts Télécom ParisTech in the Top Five of major French engineering schools.
