I work as a network security engineer at Orange France Telecom as part of Orange’s graduate program “Telecom Talents”.
It is the international element that clinched it for me when I first found out about this graduate program. This latter offers the possibility to hold a position based in France, but at the same time with a strong international focus. This international aspect creates a global corporate culture and a common society of different backgrounds, creating diversity as well as experience and knowledge sharing opportunities. You get a lot of responsibility from your very first position, and I highly regard this because for me it truly shows that the confidence in you as a new joiner is very high. Last but not least, the tutoring and mentoring facilities along with HR support and follow up we get through out the program is catering to my needs as a young graduate looking to continuously boost my career. To sum up, I am happy and excited to wake up and go to work in the morning as I know I’ll be collaborating with a diverse group of people across multiple functions globally and participating in innovative and challenging projects!
Telecom ParisTech offered me the opportunity to acquire an extensive training (both theoretical and practical) on the latest technologies, and at the same time to explore other interesting fields such as economics, management and entrepreneurship; all this within an international and multicultural environment!
Finally, at the end of the day, when you get your diploma from Telecom ParisTech you also get with it an invaluable gift, which is the “engineer mind set”.
