Télécom ParisTech’s research is organised around the activities of its two main laboratories: the Institut Interdisciplinaire de l’Innovation (Interdisciplinary Institute for Innovation) (I3) and the Laboratoire Traitement et Communication de l’Information (Laboratory for Information Processing and Communication) (LTCI). It covers the major scientific disciplines taught at the graduate school: Computer Science and Networks, Applied Mathematics, Electronics, Image Processing, Data Processing, Signal Processing, Economic and Social Sciences.
These two laboratories bring together 162 researcher-lecturers from Télécom ParisTech and nearly 200 doctoral and post-doctoral students. The I3 laboratory is a joint research unit (UMR CNRS 9217), shared with Mines ParisTech and École Polytechnique. The LTCI is Télécom ParisTech’s own laboratory. Both laboratories work closely together on several interdisciplinary areas: interaction design, digital trust, digital data, etc.
