Today, engineering schools cannot ignore innovative processes and uses of the technical tools that form its field of focus on the one hand, or the economic and social impact of these technologies on the other. With well-established expertise in these areas, the Department of Economic and Social Sciences at Télécom ParisTech aims not only to establish these concerns in the education of engineering students and in the training they receive, but also to contribute to fundamental and applied research on these issues.
