Living abroad

The international dimension is a long-lasting tradition at Telecom ParisTech

The School provides all international students with specific services as soon as they arrive, irrespective of the type of course ("Diplôme d'Ingénieur" (MSc in Engineering), exchanges, Masters degrees, advanced Masters, doctorates): help with accommodation and dedicated services to assist with administrative requirements and settling in.

  • Maisel (Maison des Elèves de Télécom ParisTech) is the body which manages all the accommodation reserved for students at this university. Rents are moderate and students can receive housing benefit (allocation logement). Find out more about accommodation.
  • The International Relations Office will help you obtain your residence permit (Titre de séjour ).
  • The MSc of Engineering Office will help you with administrative formalities (registration at the university and health insurance).
  • The Languages and Cultures Department has a French as a Foreign or Second Language programme which offers a variety of educational activities which will help you become more confident in French, as well as helping you meet other people and find out about the university and French culture.
