Mastère spécialisé (Post Masters’degree) : international students

We receive many foreign students in our Post-Master's Degree (Mastères Spécialisés) programme, with almost half of the students in the program hailed from more than twenty different countries.

Students from the European Union coming to study at Telecom ParisTech will need to present:

  • a valid passport
  • an official letter of invitation addressed to the student by Telecom ParisTech authorities
  • birth certificate (original + copy), + translation into French with an official stamp (original + copy)
  • insurance (in addition to the European Social Security) which covers medical costs and repatriation in the event of serious illness or of an accident.
  • 4 black and white passport-format photographs

Non-European students coming to study at Telecom ParisTech will need to present:

  • a valid passport
  • an official letter of invitation addressed to the student by Telecom ParisTech authorities
  • insurance which covers medical costs and repatriation in the event of serious illness or of an accident
  • 4 black and white passport-format photographs
  • a bank statement showing current balance (signed by the french Embassy in the student's country)
  • birth certificate (original + copy), + translation into French with an official stamp (original + copy)
  • 55 euro Residence Tax, to take with when collecting the provisory resident permit and notification for a medical visit
  • Non-French-speaking students must sit a French test in their own country before coming to France.

The following steps are compulsory. You must:

  • register with the cooperation and cultural activities services of a French embassy abroad or a “Centre pour les Etudes en France” where appropriate (Campus-France)
  • register with (send an application to) Télécom ParisTech by following the application guidelines on our website.

Apply on-line by visiting the Campus France  (CEF) website and monitor the progress and status of your application in real time.

Télécom ParisTech begins the pre-registration process as soon as you supply your CEF identity number.

You are advised to register with one of the two application panels without delay: the CEF procedures and visa formalities may be extremely time-consuming.
