The modern soldier

My everyday work consists of managing a team of fifteen engineers who work around the idea of the modern soldier. As an R&D team, we have to offer existing and future clients new technologies and integration capacities. So I work in close relation with the strategic analysts and the business developers in order to be able to offer and implement the best technologies for the market. My team is in charge of developing the company's strategic vision for the Soldier part.

A variety of people

The main advantage in my work is the diversity of people I deal with every day. Engineers, analysts, business developers, financiers and clients; it's very enriching and often fascinating. Another strong point in my work is that I have to have a strategic, financial and technical vision in order to bring our mission to completion. Finally, managing a team on a day-to-day basis is a fascinating part of my work. I constantly have to analyze my own position in order to be able to make the right decisions without losing time.

Sound basic training

Telecom ParisTech provided sound training that enabled me to identify the main issues involved in my work as soon as I arrived in the company. The school gave me good technical bases which, when combined with management and finance classes, enabled me to quickly feel at home in my work. Learning to work in a team, to organize and communicate, are also important strong points in the Telecom ParisTech training. The network of graduate engineers is also a powerful advantage when looking for a first job.
