The Smart Mobility Mastère Spécialisé® (Post-Masters' degree) is a high-level technical and managerial program which specifically covers mobility systems organization, transportation systems, opportunities created by digital technology and the design and management of mobility services.

Two schools combined to cover two areas of expertise

Télécom Paris Tech will provide the IT and telecommunications parts of the courses in Information Technology, Data Science, CRM and Cyber Security, among others. A leading graduate school in digital technology, its teaching and research cover all disciplines of information and communication science and technology.

École des Ponts ParisTech will provide the teaching for mobility, particularly with regard to transport system organization, infrastructure and transportation system engineering and territorial management, the economics and services of mobility, traffic management, and logistics management.

Each course will involve researchers from both graduate schools and expert professionals.


11 months of part-time courses compatible with employment

Two semesters of classes will total approximately 400 teaching hours (45 European Credit Transfer System [ECTS]), followed by a semester dedicated to a work-based thesis (30 ECTS).
The classes, alternating one week per month, will be held in both graduate schools: École des Ponts ParisTech and Télécom ParisTech, depending on the premises on the day.

"Common Core Project"

During the course’s two semesters, students will be involved in teams to carry out a “Common Core Project” focused on innovation and led by teacher-researchers in direct contact with industrial partners and their needs.
These projects will be supported by the graduate schools’ research laboratories and their scientific equipment.

Step 1: Start your online application and gather together supporting documents

Together with the online application form, you will need to provide official or authenticated copies of the following:

  • your academic transcripts of each year of university
  • your CV
  • a 1 page handwritten cover letter
  • your passport or ID card
  • 1 recent photograph glued to your printed out application form
  • your English test score
  • the €150 application fee, payable online & non-refundable
  • Recommendation letter(s), 1 of which is a professional reference. The recommendation letter is an important tool to evaluate your application.
  • your degree certificate or an attendance certificate if you are still studying

All documents must be provided in English or French. Official translations will also have to be provided for documents in other languages.

Step 2: Your admission is studied and Interview

If your application is retained, you will be contacted to organize an interview by phone. The interview will last 45 minutes. It is a classic motivational interview. The aim is for you to be able to demonstrate your motivation to join the program and the school and also get across your personality. If the interview is successful, your file will be sent to the jury.

The jury will then deliberate on your overall application and decisions will be submitted to the program’s Academic Director and the Télécom ParisTech Admissions Committee.

Step 3: Secure your seat

You will be informed of the jury's response personally by email.
You will then have for 10 days a registration priority which guarantees you a place in the training.
