The Télécom ParisTech laboratories

The research activity of Télécom ParisTech is organized around two main research Labs: the Interdisciplinary Institute for Innovation (I3) and the Information and Communications Lab (LTCI). It covers the major scientific disciplines taught at Télécom ParisTech: Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Signal Processing, Electronics, Digital Communications and Networks, Economic and Social Sciences.

These two laboratories have together 162 senior researchers and around 200 Ph.D. and post-doctoral students. I3 is a joint research laboratory, between the CNRS (UMR 9217), Mines ParisTech, École Polytechnique and Télécom ParisTech. The LTCI is a Télécom ParisTech laboratory. Both laboratories work closely together on several interdisciplinary areas: interaction and design, digital trust, digital data, etc.

Research outstanding works : Wanyu Liu, Human Computer Interaction. Wanyu Liu presents her PhD work and method on designing interaction techniques. Her work "BIGnav: Bayesian Information Gain for Guiding Multiscale Navigation" was awarded with a Best Paper Award at the 2017 CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems.
